Hello sisters on the wall,
This post brings us Christine, a constant example to me of faithfulness. I hope you enjoy her answers as much as I did.
1. Tell us about you! Who you married, where you live, how long you’ve been married, where did you go on a honeymoon, how many kids and ages if you want.
I have been married to the incredible Greg Miller for almost 24 years. Our home is in Arvada, Colorado (near Denver). We enjoyed a trip to Maui for our honeymoon, which is the closest to heaven a person can get on this earth.:) We have six children: Reeve (20), Josiah (19), Scarlet (17), Max (14), Kellan (12), and Evangeline (9).
2. What are your hobbies? How did you get started on them?
I enjoy baking (especially to bless my family and friends), dancing (since childhood and through high school), knitting (a newer skill I’m learning to do with my kids, though not as often as I’d like in this season of life), and Pilates (part of investing in my future family 🙂)
3. If you had a free weekend and could spend it anywhere you wanted and any way you wanted, what would that look like?
A coffee shop with a Bible and another good book, delicious food, exercise, a hot bath, a visit to see dear friends in Loveland or Franktown, a long walk/hike with Greg. Or, I’d take just being by myself the entire weekend!
4. What is something the Lord has been teaching you recently?
After experiencing a number of major hurts, betrayals, and disappointments, I have found that’s it’s easy for my mind to go to a place of fear over what lies ahead in future disappointments. I think the Lord is showing me, in my times with him each morning recently, that the only anecdote to this fear is to keep my expectations- really my HOPE- in the right place, in the only One who won’t leave me disappointed. I have been meditating on a phrase found several times in the bible: “Be strong and courageous.” (such as in 2 Chron. 32:7).
Also Zephaniah 3:15-16: The King of Israel, the Lord, is in your midst; you shall never again fear evil. On that day it shall be said to Jerusalem: “Fear not, O Zion; let not your hands grow weak.”
In the same chapter, verse 5: The Lord within her is righteous; he does no injustice; every morning he shows forth his justice; each dawn HE DOES NOT FAIL;
The Lord is helping me let go of expectations for the future that are uncertain and focus entirely on the truths I can actually count on! “Great is the Lord, who delights in the welfare of his servant!” Psalm 35:27
5. What can we be praying for you this month?
I would love to build a strong bond with my soon-to-be daughter-in-law. Reeve is getting married July 19! Still getting to know Elia, but we love her and her family so far. ☺️ Also, Greg and I have another mission trip coming up in April to Croatia. Please pray for our children at home without us for 10 days!

Congratulations to Reeve & Elia! That’s so exciting! I love the verses you shared and the truths about God being the only one who does not fail. I’m praying today that you will be able to smile at the future and that you will walk in strength & courage each day! We’d love to hear an update when you’re back from Croatia! 💜
Thanks for sharing, Christine. I was especially encouraged by the verses in Zephaniah! Katie
